After reading the Bitcoin White Paper in December 2013, Jeff committed to redefining the internet to return ownership to the edge by investing and BUIDLing in blockchain technology. Jeff currently supports founders and blockchains as an advisor and investor. In 2017, his biggest blockchain contribution to date was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), seeing a blank page by founding the Blockchain, Web3, and Crypto business for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Jeff created a $#.#B annual business providing cloud infrastructure, GTM assistance, and telling the story of 1000s of Web3 companies globally. Jeff previously was President at Blockdaemon. Jeff spent seven years in venture finance, providing growth capital to early-stage, venture-backed tech companies.  He was a financial and commodity derivatives trader the decade before venture lending.  His affinity for startups was formed during his first career stop as an early employee running operations and corporate development for the first non-financial institution to deploy ATMs. Before starting his career, Jeff played college and professional hockey and still has all his teeth.
