SPEAKER’S PROFILE

Tadge Dryja is co-inventor of the Lightning Network and former CTO Lightning Labs, where he worked to solve some of the world’s hardest scalability problems for bitcoin and blockchain. A core bitcoin developer, Tadge worked at MIT’s Digital Currency Initiative as a Research Scientist, where in addition to research he taught a blockchain engineering class. His current research is on expanding the scalability, efficiency, and functionality of the Bitcoin network. Tadge has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
