Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Innovation: Does it solve a real-world problem in a novel way?

Feasibility: Can it be realistically implemented?

Impact: Does it have the potential for a significant positive impact?

Technical Implementation: How well is it built?


Yes! You can register for both editions separately since they have different registration processes.

‍

If you win in the online edition, you’ll receive a prize pool and a slot to present at PBW in Paris. However, you won’t be able to compete in the onsite hackathon.

‍

If you don’t win in the online edition, you’re still eligible to register and participate in the onsite edition in Paris.

No single person will receive the entire prize pool—it will be distributed among the winners.

‍

The total prize pool covers both formats and both tracks. You can only win in one edition. If you win the online edition, you’ll receive a share of the €25,000 prize pool (covering both Sloana and XRPL tracks) and secure a slot at PBW in Paris, making you ineligible for the onsite hackathon. However, if you don’t win in the online edition, you can still register and compete in the onsite edition in Paris.

Online Edition: Prizes will be distributed via online payment methods after verification.

Onsite Edition: Prizes will be transferred after the event.

No, Paris Blockchain Week nor BizThon will not provide airfare or accommodation for onsite participants at any stage.

Online Edition: A series of workshops and mentor sessions will be available both online through the BizThon platform You can participate by registering through the BizThon platform and by registering on the Luma events we will create and update in the workshop section of this website.

Both the Online and Onsite Editions have a total prize pool of €10,000 for the Solana track. The XRPL track has a prize pool of €15,000. Each opened track has its own dedicated prize pool.
