Doctor in information and communication sciences, with a Master's degree in political science and a Master's degree in business law, Jacques- André Fines Schlumberger has been an entrepreneur since 2000, working on social and digital innovations. He is a lecturer at the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) and author for La revue européenne des médias et du numérique. He has been studying blockchains and their practical applications for a long time, and under the prism of sustainable development since 2018. He’s also head of operation of the non-profit organization Blockchain for Good, backed by major French institutions, and whose purpose is to enhance, promote and contribute to research in digital innovations, foster and support the sharing of experiences between the blockchains ecosystem and sustainable development actors, and promote a legislative and normative framework favorable to innovation.
