Since 2015 Ewoud has been active in the crypto and blockchain space. His interest began with a simple question: Why was it so difficult to buy cryptocurrencies with the payment methods that are mainstream being used on other eCom platforms? The answer followed when Worldpay started working on bridging the gap between fiat and cryptocurrency. Today, there are still many challenges, which is why Worldpay introduced a dedicated crypto, NFT and web3 team to work on solutions that will bring crypto adoption and acceptance to even bigger audiences. Ewoud thrives on solving challenges and supporting merchants grow their business in the global and complex landscape of payments.
