SPEAKER’S PROFILE

Ali Al-Ali is the Technical Lead of Gridex and one of its early contributors. Ali is a crypto enthusiast who ardently believes that the complete decentralisation of finance is the ultimate goal of DeFi.

Ali found out about Gridex through its co-founder, Kevin Liu, in 2022 and helped get the Gridex Protocol off the ground. Ali then joined Gridex as Technical Lead earlier this year, responsible for promoting its novel technology.

Prior to Gridex, he has won prizes at several Web3 hackathons and has co-authored a conference paper for the IEEE International Conference on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency 2022 on the dynamics of Bitcoin, gold and oil futures.He recently graduated from his BSc in Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London and is due to commence his MSc in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford in October, 2023.
