Thomas Matteï is Head of Global Marketing and E-commerce for Le Bristol Paris.
His career started in Los Angeles at the Peninsula Beverly Hills, before he returned to France to join Le Bristol, the first hotel to be awarded the "Palace" distinction. Founded in 1925, the hotel has since become one of the most iconic and prestigious in the city, a model of French elegance and art de vivre. An exceptional setting best known for its outstanding dining tradition (4 Michelin Stars in total), a lush, 13,000-square-foot courtyard garden, and an iconic rooftop swimming pool.
For nearly 7 years, Thomas has inspired the hotel to innovate its e-commerce ecosystem on a 360˚ level (rooms, restaurants, spa, gifts, guest relations...) alongside a process of digitalization - a daily challenge, in this traditional, family-owned business.
Thomas is now paving the way for Le Bristol Paris to enter the Web3 space by daring to expand the hotel's image and create new ways for guests and clients to engage. The vision is for Le Bristol to be a Web3 and metaverse pioneer in the hotel industry and reinforce its status as a disruptor by making it the first Palace hotel to enter Web3.
