SPEAKER’S PROFILE

Janet is the Head of EU Policy at Chainalysis, a data-analytics network platform focused on bringing greater transparency to the world of blockchains, and particularly digital assets. Before joining Chainalysis, she worked at the Secretariat of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the international standard-setter for money laundering and the financing of terrorism and proliferation. Her recent work has ranged from introducing and revising the FATF rules to leading guidance and typology work on virtual assets, data protection and information sharing, and counter proliferation financing. She was also responsible for conducting FATF Mutual Evaluations on FATF member countries and FATF Reviews on high-risk and other monitored jurisdictions. Previously, she was a policy maker at the Hong Kong Government, focusing on financial and security issues.
