Hubert de Vauplane heads the Regulatory / FinTech practice of the Paris office. He advises on European and French law in the areas of banking and investment services regulation, asset management, insurance regulation, securities law, payment services and digital assets activities..He is or has been a member of various professional groups such as the Financial Market Law Committee (Bank of England), European Financial Lawyers Group (European Central Bank), Paris Europlace, P.R.I.M.E. (Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance) and the Haut Comité Juridique de la Place Financière de Paris (HCJP). He has been a member of the AMF's Market Advisory Commission in the past.He chairs the Legal blockchain and crypto association.He teaches international banking and finance law at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, having previously been an professor at the University of Paris II Panthéon - Assas.
