Nicolas Julia is the co-founder and CEO of Sorare, the Paris-based global fantasy sports platform bringing millions of fans closer to the players and teams they love.

Believing that sports fandom could be taken a step further, Nicolas and his co-founder Adrien Montfort set out to build an exciting fantasy game that could connect fans with their favourite players, teams and leagues through ownable, digital collectibles.By combining an innovative fantasy game with digital collectibles, Sorare is revolutionising online sports fandom and now has over 3 million users across 180 countries. More than 300 iconic teams, clubs and organisations including La Liga, NBA, MLB and Serie A have partnered with Sorare to help it build the next sports entertainment giant.

With 140 employees across France and New York, Sorare is one of Europe’s fastest growing startups and recently raised a $680m Series B funding round at a $4.3bn valuation from world class investors including SoftBank, Accel and Benchmark. Sorare also counts athletes Serena Williams, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Rio Ferdinand among its investors, ambassadors and advisors.
