The 5th edition of Paris Blockchain Week, the leading international conference dedicated to blockchain and Web3 and Europe’s largest gathering of thought leaders, innovators, and experts from around the world, has reached its conclusion. 

Paris Blockchain Week announced the winners of this year’s Startup Competition, dishing out an array of prizes to the 10 finalists and 4 winning Startups, for up to $10 million in the shape of funding, grants, accelerations, listings and more. 

Paris Blockchain Week, the leading international conference dedicated to blockchain and Web3, kicked off its second annual hackathon with three exciting challenges set by Solana and XRPL, with Casper and Sia as additional sponsors. The event took place over 48 hours from April 5 - April 7 and saw each winning team take home a €4,500 cash prize.

The event offered a glimpse into the cutting-edge discussions, industry leaders, and innovative projects that will be front and center at the upcoming Paris Blockchain Week, set to take place from April 9th to 11th, 2024, at the Carrousel du Louvre.

Paris, France, 18 October 2023. Paris Blockchain Week, the leading blockchain and Web3 event organiser, announced how the 5th edition (8-12 April 2024) at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France, is shaping up. 

The Paris Blockchain Week, Europe’s largest gathering of thought leaders, innovators, and experts from around the world, has concluded and demonstrated that the blockchain space is maturing. 8,500 attendees flocked to Paris, joining executives and change-makers from major companies such as Google, Coca-Cola, Amazon Web Services, Deutsche Bank, Bloomberg, LVMH, Coinbase, Circle, Microsoft, and Mercedes. The week had three focus points: talent and investors, the Web3XP, and a two-day Summit to close-out the event.

Paris Blockchain Week, the leading international conference dedicated to blockchain and Web3 kicked off with a hackathon on the Saturday and Sunday. Challenges were set by Gridex, Solana and XRPL (by Ripple) and Mehdi Labbani of B4Blabs inspired the audience on the Saturday afternoon. Three winning teams all taking a € 4500 cheque home.

The votes are in for the inaugural Paris Blockchain Week Awards, which were powered by the Partisia Blockchain, and the community has chosen its leading innovators across a number of categories, including Best Blockchain Project, Web3 Personality of the Year, and Best Brand Initiative. 

After announcing its first inaugural Paris Blockchain Week Awards, the Paris Blockchain Week and Partisia Blockchain-powered Awards has kicked off with great success as many have already cast votes for the leading organisations, projects, and individuals across the innovative blockchain sector. Paris Blockchain Week, jointly with Partisia Blockchain, today announces a Paris Blockchain Week first: Paris Blockchain Week Awards - inaugural edition. The Awards will recognise the most notable individuals, projects, and organisations across this innovative sector at Europe’s largest gathering of thought leaders, innovators, and experts from around the world convening to discuss and advance the state of blockchain and web3 technologies. 

The start-up competition at Paris Blockchain Week, will kick-off today in partnership with Google Cloud. Start-ups with a focus on blockchain and Web3 will have up to the 15 Feb to apply to participate in this unique opportunity to engage with investors that have a dedicated focus on the industry and convince them to back their projects.
