In 2024 over 9,000+ global thought leaders, innovators, and professionals from over 85 countries got together at the Paris Blockchain Week event. 400+ speakers joined 500+ reporters and journalists, as well as executives and change-makers from major companies of which 64.8% were c-suite.
The 5th edition of Paris Blockchain Week was highly successful and showcased the rapid growth and maturity of various blockchain sectors, including Open Finance, Tech Builders, Corporate Web3, Public Policy, and Enterprise Blockchain.
The event was very honoured to welcome Marina Ferrari, French Secretary of State for Digital Affairs, who commented, "If the Paris Blockchain Week has become an unmissable event in Europe - and beyond - for the Web3 sector, it is obviously thanks to its organisers who bring together every year, in the heart of our capital, the best players in the crypto ecosystem and its future nuggets."
With Bitcoin's impressive performance leading up to this year's event, the world's most valuable cryptocurrency was a hot topic, with a number of notable presenters stating that there is plenty of growth potential for the rest of the year.
Several blockchain pioneers spoke at the event about the progress of blockchain, providing an enticing view into future trends. Tim Draper underlined the advantages of decentralisation. During his keynote, he emphasised the crucial necessity of trust in corporate success and described how blockchain creates a trust-based society, eliminating the need to deal with centralised authorities.
Next year's Paris Blockchain Week will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre from April 8 to 10, and numerous sponsors, speakers, and partners have already confirmed their participation.
Don't miss out, come and join us in 2025.
